Asian Honey Chicken Recipe

Honey is a big staple in our diet here at PexPeppers; we also love Asian food. We’ve incorporated our very own Dr Pecks Honey into this recipe to bring you some of the best chicken you will ever eat. This Asian Honey Chicken recipe is the bees knees.

Honey Chicken Glaze Sauce Ingredients:

You will also need:

  • 2 Pounds Chicken Breast/Tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Vegetable Oil to fry with.

Chicken Directions:

  1. Combine Eggs and milk and whisk until it is a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Cube Chicken and then place in cornstarch mixture to soak for about 5 minutes
  3. Fry chicken on medium high heat until thoroughly cooked. Cornstarch will create a crunchy breading.
  4. You can also double fry. Once at 325 and again at 400 to get an even crispier chicken.
  5. Put aside in large bowl after soaking up excess oil with paper towel

Asian Honey Chicken Sauce Glaze Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pot minus the cornstarch slurry
  2. Heat mixture until it JUST boils
  3. Slowly pour cornstarch slurry into the boiling sauce mixture and stir constantly
  4. Take off heat after about 30 seconds or until sauce is noticeably thicker.
  5. Pour the glaze over the chicken and toss and serve!

Spicy Nacho Queso Dip

Have you ever wanted to create nacho cheese sauce and never been able to? Well with this easy recipe its 5 simple steps with the easiest of ingredients. This is an easy way to make movie theater nachos at home.

Ingredients

  • 28 g/1oz butter
  • 28 g/1oz plain flour
  • 473 ml/1 pint milk
  • salt and white pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked Chili Powder
  • 85 g / 3oz cheese, grated (e.g. mature cheddar, Gouda, gruyère)
  • 2 Tablespoons of HornetBOMB hot sauce (important for flavor)

Preparation method

Melt the butter in a saucepan.

Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to make a blonde roux (DO NOT LET IT GET TOO DARK).

Take the pan off the heat and gradually stir in the milk to get a smooth sauce the consistency of a milk shake. Return to the heat and, stirring all the time, bring to a soft boil for about 5-8 minutes.

Stir in cheese and allow to melt. Don’t re-boil the sauce or it will become stringy.

After stirring in cheese, add some To The Moon hot sauce (which was designed for dogecoin btw) which gives it an awesome smokey flavor on top of being rather spicy!
